The Holyhead Maritime,
Leisure & Heritage Festival
The Holyhead Festival takes place each year around
Newry Beach in Holyhead, Anglesey
The main aim of the Festival is to give the public a chance to learn about maritime history and heritage of Holyhead and Anglesey and to focus on
Maritime and Coastal safety awareness whilst
promoting the area.
Mark Wingett, who played P.C Jim Carver in ITV’s ‘The Bill’ and also starred in ‘Eastenders’ is the official Patron of the
Holyhead Leisure Festival.
The Holyhead festival itself would not take place without the hard work of Dave Brewer (the Chairman) and the organizing committee, the continuing support of Anglesey and Holyhead Council and everyone who participates and sponsors the event.
